This year the officers will also be hosting a “Child Safety Day” with numerous youth organizations at various events and will be distributing Child I.D. These kits contain a photo, fingerprints and vital stats all on one simple form that parents can provide to the proper authorities. We will also be distributing Child Information Kits to families throughout Boston to help expedite getting information to law enforcement agencies, media and the Amber Alert System. To date we have printed hundreds of kids of all ages.
